Harmonic Nihongo
Just like a composer who writes music with notes to achieve harmony, I tried to create something similar, but with Japanese ‘Kana’s.
When I first learned Japanese, I found that the basic component of the language, which is Kana, all contains vowels. Then I had this idea in mind of making music with reconstructing Japanese characters.
As you play several ‘notes’ together, it becomes the result of conceptual harmony. This could convert words and sentences into a single chord. Achieving harmony on both the sound of the kana and the meaning behind them.
Here’s an example of a written piece since I love Yakitori.
The Keyboard
I tried to remake a keyboard so that each key is embedded with a sound of a kana. As you ‘type’, you are also playing the harmony of the Japanese language.
